Hi there,

Could someone please let me know how I go about deleting old threads or posts that I have created?

It is not possible to delete old posts or threads. 

A thread can be modified for 24 hours after its written but then would need a moderator to carry out any alterations.

Phew ....I have one under Dunne Rathbride, kildare and I attached my grandmothers baptism cert .... actually if I could get rid of the whole thread please....plus I have another under kilbride co meath ....if you could manage that too please 🙏

Me too, I have  hundreds of messages from RootsChat and those I have sent .
Can sometimes dustbin a few but many stay put .
They are spilling out of my iPad !,but not fast enough!
HELP!

Victoria,

If you do not want to be notified of replies to your topics, then you simply visit the topic and click on the "un-notify" button and you will no longer be notified of replies to this topic.

If anyone has any problem with a topic there is the option to "report it to a moderator" if you click on this button you can send us a message regarding your or others posts. It saves time on us having to hunt down the topics.

Actually ....I posted too much info about my dead grandmother including baptism cert ...and I'm in trouble over it
