Title: Michael Fitzgerald 1837-1902 - Photo restoration needed
Post by: JJJ2 on Tuesday 19 February 19 22:03 GMT (UK)

Hi:
Michael  Fitzgerald is my 2nd great uncle.  He was born and died in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I've googled the photographer S. J. Dixon and he was in business from 1872 until 1891 at Yonge and King Street in Toronto.  But a footnote states he was only at this location between 1880-1885.

Is it possible to clean up this photo?

Thanks,

Jerri, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Another try leaving the basic vintage format.

Tweaked it with a slight bit of color.

Thank you, Treetotal - Carol, and John - 76.  You both did a great job on cleaning up this photo.  I don't have any pictures of my Fitzgerald line so it's nice to have this one.
