Hello,
Does anyone have an original scan of the parish register for the marriage of James Smyth and Sarah Harriet Skitter on 16 June 1811?
I'm looking for any potential information not on the digital transcription, like ages, jobs, parents, witnesses etc.
Many thanks!

Thanks! That's quite interesting, since I read an old newspaper article saying she died on 4th Feb 1845, but in London. Must be the same one?

I might go ahead and order that certificate.
This doesn't show her age, but I think proves it's the right one in the BMD database. I can't read most of this, but I'm sure it says on Line 3/4 - "James Smyth of Ipswich in the County of Suffolk Gentleman and Late Husband bid by this will"

Sorry I didn't see this request earlier. I looked at the original marriage register many years ago and noted these details from page 88:
Ipswich St Matthew 16 June 1811
James Smyth of this parish, bachelor
m. by licence
Sarah Harriet Skitter of same, spinster
Both signed ("S. H. Skitter")
Withesses: John ?Skitter, Thos. Ward, Mary Blomfield?
Images of the NCC marriage licence bond (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DRR3-WHB?i=585&cc=1824690) and allegation (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DRR3-32Q?i=586&cc=1824690) are available at FamilySearch.org.
Being more interested in the Smyth family, I haven't researched Sarah's ancestry beyond the potential wedding of her parents (Thomas Skitter and Sarah Aston?) at Polstead in 1761 (Suffolk FHS index).
I found nothing to connect my Smyth ancestors with the children of James and Sarah, who include the celebrated artists Edward Robert Smythe (https://suffolkartists.co.uk/index.cgi?choice=painter&pid=588) (c.1815-1899) and Thomas Smythe (https://suffolkartists.co.uk/index.cgi?choice=painter&pid=589) (1825-1906) as well as Elizabeth Garrett (c.1818-1884) and Emma Taylor (https://suffolkartists.co.uk/index.cgi?choice=painter&pid=865) (c.1819-1877).
But I did establish to my satisfaction that James (c.1778-1843) was a son of the watchmaker James Smyth of Saxmundham, Woodbridge and Ipswich (c.1742-1828) and Elizabeth née Gooodall (d. 1795?) who were probably both buried at Grundisburgh, where they had married in 1766.
