Good Morning fellow enthusiasts
I am wondering if any one can help me, im looking for information on a man by the name of John Byng.
He apparently owned the first pub in Mt Gambier, and was African American, i have found numerous articles on Trove in regards to him owning and selling the establishment but cant seem to trace him further. I have checked S.A B.D.M index but to no avail, there are 3 on the Vic B.d.M register but time line and age dont seem to match, was wondering if any one would know where else i could look
Thanks
Sue
