Title: O'Loughlin/O'Loghlen search DUBLIN 1750-1870
Post by: Fil on Friday 12 August 05 22:30 BST (UK)
I wondered if anybody could help me trace the parish records for the marriage of James O'Loughlin (O'Loghlen) to Mary Ann Johnston  in Dublin between 1860 - 64. - They had children Torlough (1863) and Francis (1865) Margaret (1868) - all baptised at St Mary's. But there is no trace of their marriage at St Mary's - I feel that they may of married at her parish (but she was born in Dublin - as UK 1871 census states) - but I can't trace which one - Unfortunately I live 3.5 hours away in Mayo with wife and 3 children under 6 and find it almost impossible to get to Dublin and look - Can anybody help me - I don't want to give up as I feel that I have gone so far.

Hi,

Is this St Mary's Anglican or catholic? You could try the database o some Dublin parishes of both religions that's in the Dublin City Archives

Hi Fil,  I don't know if you're still on this board, but I'm new to it.  My grandfather was Torlogh O'Loghlen and he married Emily Parker in 1899.

I wonder if you are still searching your family history?

Kind regards, Maureen
