Hello, I am trying to locate where my Mitchard ancestors are buried.
I will be visiting Wales in April and hope to visit some cemeteries.  I believe they lived in the areas of Ebbw Vale, Abertillery, Blackwood.  A big region I know.

Henry James Ricketts Mitchard died 1881..last address 63 Blaenau Gwent Rows - I have death certificate but dont know how to post in here.
William - married Margaret Morgan - died 1913 in Pontypridd, Glamorgan,
Catherine - married James Jones -  lived Bedwellty
Augusta Louisa   - married William James -  lived Glamorgan, Cardif

any information much appreciated

In the 1881 census he was living at Aberystruth, Monmouthshire, Registration District    Bedwelty.

Many thanks, I’ve got that plus death certificate but there is no reference to burial ...Ref:5523455-1

I think all the burial records for the church at Bedwelty are held here. http://www.gwentarchives.gov.uk/
