Grasping at straws here I think!
Bernard Todd was based (during 1942 at least) in Comrie along with several other regiments including the Cameronians, Sherwood foresters, Polish and Canadian. He met and married my Aunt Doreen Burrell there (she was an evacuee from London). Unfortunately Doreen was killed in 1944 (along with most of the family) when they returned to London. Bernard went on to marry again and sadly pass away in 1990. He is the only member of my family that I do not have a photograph of - and this is the reason for this message!
Is there anybody out there who may know of/be related to Bernard who may have and be willing to part with a photograph perchance!

Have you traced any children from his 2nd marriage ? Possibly there is a daughter who married in 1971 - photographs may be in her possession

Suz - yes I did see that, but can find no further records for her following the marriage. I have though found a tree on Ancestry that looks like it may contain her husband and have emailed the owner to confirm and provide any info they have (if they are happy to of course!).

The Tree I found only had (what could be) the daughter's husband, and his daughter on it (very small tree) - but I could only find one potential child from the marriage a male, so not sure this is correct.

Bernard married Doreen in 1942, Comrie. Have you got the date and name of his second marriage?

Yes - Bernard married Margaret Leppard in Q3 1946 (Vol: 5C Page: 2825)
Daughter Penelope T A Todd Born 1947 Chelsea (Vol: 5c Page: 475) - (no birth cert. to confirm this is correct)
Penelope married Harry Lancley Q1 1971 Croydon (Vol 5a Page 1423)
Interestingly, I have just done a search for Lancley births with mothers name Todd between 1960 & 2000 on Ancestry (used FindMyPast yesterday) - comes up with several names (but same search is only returning 1 record on FindMyPast!!!). Includes a Conna Louise 1980, Crawley - which I believe will be the Donna Louise I emailed yesterday.
