I am trying to find birth records for Martha Booth. I believe that she was born in 1833, at time of 1881 census, she was 48 and married to George Palframan and lived at 32 Boldshay St, Bradford, York.
George Palframan 53
Martha nee Booth Mother 48
Mary daughter 24
Eloura son 19
Martha J daughter 17
Alfred son 15
Herbert son 12
Arthur son 8
Ernest son 6
However, I have been unable to find marriage records or birth records for Martha. She was born at Bradford.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Debra
My great great grandparents were GEORGE PALFRAMAN and MARTHA BOOTH I have their marriage certificate and if you could tell me your connection to them I will insert the image for you to copy. ALFRED was my great grandfather. I would love to send you all my information on the PALFRAMANS and hear yours too.
Kind regards Sandra

Hello Graham
My apologies for taking to long to answer your post, to be honest I have only just found it. Not quite sure about your Michael Palframan. Our branch ended up in Bradford, does this tie in anywhere?
Bye for now,
Deb

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for those marriage records. Was trying to work out whether my George goes back to rainbow 1's Michael Palframan. You have the correct George and Martha by the way. Thanks again,
Deb

I am descended from Michael Palfreyman/Palframan the hatter from Pontefract who was born about 1758 and married Ann Faux.
My line comes down through his son and grandson (both Williams) to great-g-daughter Elizabeth who finished up in Bradford.
Any connections??

Hello,
Yes my branch of the Palfreman family came from Bradford. George Palfreman married Martha Booth and I am descended from their son Ernest.
Good to hear from you and if I can be of any help don't hesitate to ask

Hi Debra
Thanks for responding and for the offer of help.
Is your George the one born 1799, the son of William Palfreyman & Margaret Pybus? He is the brother of 'my' William.
I only joined Roots Chat yesterday after picking this thread up through Google but am having a lot of trouble figuring out how it works!
I received a reply by 'personal message' from Rainbow 1 but cannot figure out how to reply to that. The only buttons are 'Delete' or 'Reload'. The 'Help' button did not help!
If you see this, Rainbow 1, my apologies.
Meanwhile, Debra, would love to confirm where your George fits in.
PS I am in NZ so not so far away from you I gather?
best wishes

HI
Just adding that to send or reply to 'personal messages' you need to have made at least three or more posts on the forum before you can use that facility.
Good Luck
