I have found my GGGgrandfather, John LYNCH, listed on the 1832 Lisnadill Civil parish Tithe Applotment Book index and was wondering if anyone has access to the full details and what would be contained in there. The index just supplies his name and the townland of Magherarval.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in Australia so a physical lookup is impossible for me and I can't seem to find anything further online.

The actual tithe records for the counties of what is now Northern Ireland are not on-line. There are transcripts of the names though which are on-line. All the actual book will usually tell you is the size of the land the tithe payer held. Plus you would be able to see who lived nearby. (Sometimes useful if looking for family relations).
All the tithes tell you is that the person held land there at that time and so was probably a farmer. It's not a lot, but in the absence of any censuses, it’s better than nothing.
