Title: Family research in Malta
Post by: francesjean on Thursday 29 November 18 12:55 GMT (UK)
Hi

I am going to Malta for a holiday in a few days.
My husband's grandfather was born there.
He was born in Mosta.  Can anyone tell me where I can go to search both birth and baptism records

Obviously too late for your trip to Malta but if you haven’t found the certificates you are looking for yet, you can apply online to the Malta Public Registry. They are usually very efficient. If you do find yourself in Malta again you can go in person and they will let you search the index books (it would be advisable to email in advance just in case you need an appointment).
