Title: Colour restoration of my Grandfather John Jones
Post by: Shirles on Monday 05 November 18 20:01 GMT (UK)
Hi ~ I wonder if a colour restoration could be done please of my Grandfather who was in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.  He had light red/auburn hair.

Many thanks in advance.

Best wishes

Very small photo, but  did my best with what was given. Hope you enjoy!

Shirls, the file size is tiny, in order to do justice to your photo it needs to be scanned at a resolution of 300 dpi for best results and a good printout. You can post a files size of of up to 500kbs on here and yours is a tiny 5kbs.
The result will be worth the effort.

I agree with Carol. The file is far too small to do it justice. It's smaller than most people's avatars.

Hello everyone

Thank you all very much for your restorations, as you say my resizing has reduced the quality of the photograph, which isn't very good in the first place.  I will try and resize again but I am going out for the rest of today but I will do as soon as I can.

Many thanks once again.

Best wishes
