I found a burial record for my ancestor on FindMyPast and at the top of the page it said ‘Burials in the Parish of St. Budeaux, Devonport’.   Would St. Budeaux be a Church with a cemetery?

 Thanks fo any help.

According to the mighty wiki, St Budeaux was established as a parish in 1482.

Thanks!  That helps.  Hopefully one day I’ll get there to visit.  Thanks again.

You could message them if you go here:

 http://www.st-budeaux-church.co.uk/contact.html

or perhaps write c/o Vicar (Stephen Beach according to website),  postal address is:

 The Vicarage
 Agaton Road
 St Budeaux
 Plymouth
 PL5 2EW

Apparently there is also a facebook page.

If you can get precise plot details, (and many churches have mapped their churchyard,) I may be able to get photos later on this year.
