Title: Twamly nee Kelly Ballonhill Carlow.

I am looking for help in finding the death cert for Mary Twamly nee Kelly .She was born Mary Kelly in Killane Ballon Carlow. I cant find anything to confirm this . Her husband Thomas Twamly died in 1888 aged 90 years at Ballonhill Carlow. but I cant find her death cert , the death cert says he is a widower so she died prior to 1880.Any help would be great Thanks.

Thomas died 1880 Carlow, which for some reason hasn't come up on your search, filters are probably garbled up from searching

She might not have been registered or given he was 90 in 1880 she could have died before Civil Registration of deaths began in 1864

Thank you all for your time. I expect as Sinann suggested it was before registeration. I have found many spellings for the name but this was the spelling used by the family.

Sorry we weren't able to help.
Many deaths went unregistered particularly in the early days of registration and weren't too great later either.

She could have reverted to using her maiden name as many did.
