Could anyone help me with a look up bdm in above country - but I cannot speak Greek >:(

My uncle was buried there, I went to visit a few years ago, its quite a remarkable place.
I went to the Greek man in the hut, gave him the name he looked in the book and said in perfect English, straight down there, last row on the left 3rd grave. Sure enough it was. However you may prefer to contact www.meetcrete.com/the-war-cemeteries-in-souda-bay

It's not clear exactly what you are looking for. Do you mean a burial at the Commonwealth Graves Cemetery at Souda Bay*? Or the burial of a Greek national at Souda?
(*A simply beautiful place, as ColC has said)

My apologies, first I need dates of birth and marriages. The family, well one half of it, was living in Lindsay House at Suda during Ww 2

Apologies - Having seen the word Souda in your initial posting I jumped, wrongly, to the conclusion you’re looking for a burial, which isn’t what you asked for at all!
Hopefully someone with knowledge of Greek BMD records will come along soon.
What are the names you’re interested in?

The wife (who was Scottish) - Jessie Elder Lindsay b 1856 - married George John Couryer (or Kourgeraki/s) b ? and died Crete 1906 - They had
two children James Lindsay Couryer b 1894 Suda Bay and Nellie (could be Helen I guess) Kourgeraki b 1895.
The family lived in "Lindsay House" Crete, which an older James Lindsay built in 1869 and moved his family there.
Other family names (tho I have no information) were Themaki, Naxaki
