Would appreciate an age on this one, hoping for the mid 1800s.
The height of the gent would determine which husband of Harriets this is, might be fun to have a guess.
We would also appreciate if there is any way to spruce up the photo some

1880's it is. He looks quite tall. even sitting down he's up to her shoulder so I would guess at 5' 9"/10"

Is it possible to scan this at a higher resolution - say 300dpi or even 600dpi. You will get far better results for a restoration.

I'm guessing that this is a copy and that the poster doesn't have the original.
