I'm trying to find the family of Elizabeth Wright ABT 1776-1835
The only solid lead I have on her is her marriage:
Staffordshire Advertiser Staffordshire, England 12 Oct 1799
laft (last), St. Mary's church in this town, William Turner, Esq. of Lane End, Wright, eldest daughter John Wright Esq of Lane End, Wright, eldest daughter John Wright Esq. banker, Stafford.
1799 Marriage has William of Stoke upon Trent and Elizabeth of Stafford
By License.
Witnesses, D Bayley and Richard Downward Bayley
Witness 2 signed as Richard Downward Bayley Junior.
Lane End is now known as Longton and William is of the Turner family of potters in Lane End.
Burial: 19 Mar 1835 St John`s Longton.
Another scrap of information is unproven but it appears that a Martin John Wright is her brother.
At one time I believed she may have been related to the Wrights of Eyam Hall however I was unable to sustain a link.
I have had a previous topic posted here to try to find her descendants with only partial success.

Thanks Phillip
Hmmm ... More proof that John Wright was a Stafford banker. It seems to prove that John Wright was a substantial man in the area.
I am from her husbands side of the family (William Turner's brother John) who married well into the Hyde family so I have always believed that there would be no reason that William also wouldn't have also married well.
My searches to find just who her Wright family was has avoided me because I found too many John Wrights to sort out just who was who so with luck I'm hoping that this Staffordshire forum may be able to surface some solid leads.
I had discovered a 22 Apr 1771 marriage of John Wright of parish of St Mary's Stafford to Mary Tomkinson parish of Eccleshall as a likely marriage of her parents but more proof would be needed.
Their children:
Martin John Wright 9 May 1772 (Proven)
Elizabeth Wright 3 Feb 1776 married my William Turner
Ann Wright 31 Mar 1777 (unproven)
Mary Wright 19 Sep 1779 (unproven)
I still believe this John Wright links into the Wrights of Eyam Hall somewhere.
