Title: AOL Error Message - calsvc.mail.aol.com’s server IP address could not be found.

Hi

I have been using AOL email for 15 years without probs but since Oath has taken it over, there are continuous issues. When trying to access today, I get the above error message and I do not have a clue!

The aol address I have always used is https://mail.aol.com/webmail-std/en-gb/suite so where calsvc comes in, I do not know.

Sadly AOL are only contactable by internet enquiry form which takes up to 72 hours for a generic response.

Please, can anyone suggest a way forward (in simple terms!)

I have now!  It worked beautifully!

Tks Hallmark, can you explain what the prob was and how you found the solution.  I couldn't find anything when I googled!

Very impressive - I was obviously doing it the hard way trying to find an exact reference.
