You mentioned a child Jemima (bn 1846)
From the GRO index which shows mothers maiden surnames

Have you tried searching Hockley & Rayleigh parish registers on SEAX for the marriage :-\

Thanks Rosie
Essex research is a new area for me, i have reg on GRO and found births as you said thanks again
Also reg into SEAX and went to parish reg where as you know they have pictures of originals, to enlarge you have to pay, so my question is, is there another way to search?

I am afraid that you have to pay to search SEAX, Essex records are mainly held on that site. The other alternative may be to visit a Latter Day Saints family history centre that could get you the film but I don't know how they operate nowadays.

Thanks Rosie and all :) :)
