A Tree has her born c 1790 Scotland, died 21 AUG 1871 • Hyde Park Asylum
George died 1844
His death is on NSW BMD but cant find Ann to confirm her age.
This would help with a search in Scotland for her.
A Ann Tallentire married John Logan 1845
May be her or a Daughter?

When did Ann die? Would her death certificate give names of her parents?
Trove has a death notice in The Sydney Morning Herald for Ann Tallentine who died 21 Aug 1871 aged 95 (giving a birth of around 1776).
Might this be your Ann?
Added: It might be worth looking at the names of her children in case she followed the Scottish naming pattern. This may give some clues.

Thanks, I am really only looking for her past in Scotland as I have all the info on her in Australia.
-
Hi Lodger, Thanks for that information interesting that her age is put at 23 younger than I thought was reported on her Australian records. Where do I go to research this info further to find out if it is the same Ann Robertson who arrived in Australia on the Janus in 1820. Dpaton
