Hi,
Samuel Orr was born in Scotland in 1859 and last appears in 1881 on the Scottish Census aged 21, a medical student in Edinburgh.  Family lore has it that he was not happy with his father's ambition that all his sons be doctors that he 'ran away to Canada and changed his name'.  His father was Samuel Kelly Orr and his mother Mary Ann nee Balfour.  Someone must know the end of his story!
