Welcome to rootschat
We can't do look ups on the 1939 register but have you located 'Jim' on it :-\

have you deliberatley concatenated LiveChearsley, or is this a typo and you mean you know that the man was alive there in 1940 ?

Hi
Welcome to Rootschat :)
Freebmd has a possible
James A Walker JAS 1913
His parents would seem to be
Thomas William Walker and Annie Maud Tubby.
There does seem to be a James Aubrey Walker born c 1875 in the Aylesbury area around that time.
Did Jim possibly have a sister Sylvia and/or a wife Amelia?
Best wishes
Cathy

Thanks everyone - the information I have is limited. I know he was also married at the time 1940/41... he also spent some time in hospital in at that time with 2 broken wrists after a fall from a roof (!) but not much help in investigations ... I see the Aubrey link for one
I’ll wait and see if anyone else chips in, it’s probably going to need a walker family member I guess
Cheers !

Hi....
My family are Walkers from Chearsley descended from Francis Walker who lived there from 1780 onwards. What info are you interested in and I might be able to help you out. I have Chearsley parish records and have researched the many branches the children of Francis created.

Hi Andy.
Hope the info has helped. Most Walkers came from Francis and there's lots of them.
