Photo of Joseph/Josephus Godfrey Swartz (1847-1887) of Rockbridge County, Virginia. Served in Civil War for Virginia Confederates. This photo came from a newspaper article in Virginia. He was a student at Roanoke College at the time. He was married to Margaret Jean Ochiltree (1847-1928). They met when he came home from the Civil War at age 17/18.
Looking for a touchup on the photo. Thanks in advance.

An excellent job by the artists/animators. Now here is another request. Perhaps someone can kindly change the suit Joseph is wearing to a grey uniform of a Confederate Private with a yellow stripe (for rank), if possible. What ever the uniform of the time appeared to be for a rebel private. Joseph was a Private in Miller's company, Rockbridge County Virginia Reserves Infantry in 1864, if that helps.
Thank you most kindly,
Brian

You folks did an excellent job of touching up the black-and-white photo of my ancestor Joseph Godfrey. Now I have another small favor. Could someone please extend/build the image provided for Robert E Gibboney further down his chest and add a grey coat with the yellow pin stripes of a Confederate Colonel- my ancestor wore this type of uniform. Lore has it that is the uniform he wore when conducting impressment activities in Wytheville, Virginia as a CSA Prices Commissioner, an appointed post. He acted like Teague in the film Cold Mountain (2003), only this was SW Virginia. Happily, he survived. You can also find this image with his name in the rootschat index in the photo restore section as well. You did such an outstanding job on Swartz I was hoping you could work on Gibboney too. Thanks again!
