Title: Horace Victor Copus
Post by: TruckerCrossie on Wednesday 01 August 18 21:32 BST (UK)
Hello everyone.
I am trying to find out what my grandad did in WW2. I cannot find any military records about him at all but looking at the time he lived, 1905 - 1968, I sure that he must have done some sort of national service somewhere. He was from Portsmouth.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me
Kev

He's on the 1939 Register which will tell you something of what he was doing at the time. Sorry, not allowed to give details due to copyright reasons. It's on Ancestry & FindMyPast.

He did not have to do military service:

If he was in the forces after 1920 then his records will still be with the MOD and not available online
