If anybody has access to parish register indexes for the following areas of Lancashire then I'd really appreciate some look-ups:
Wigan - Thomas Armstrong born circa 1820 Haigh
- marriage of same Thomas to Sarah ?? circa 1844
- James Armstrong born circa 1845 Black Rod
- Esther Baron born circa 1809
Orrell - Alice Gregson born circa 1812
- George Wareing born around same time (couple married in 1844 Wigan?)
Preston - Isabella Wareing born circa 1849
Ashton in Makerfield - William Birchall born circa 1804
- marriage of same William to Esther Baron circa 1829-1845?
- George Billingham born circa 1822
- and his father George Billingham (1780-1800??)
- TAMAR LITTLER circa 1834 (desperate for any info here!!)
- marriage of Isaac Billingham/Elizabeth Aspinall circa 1880-1885?
- marriage of Thomas Aspinall/Ann Clayton (1846?)
Leigh - Thomas Burke born circa 1859 (in Golborne)
(Plus a bunch of 'born in Ireland' ancestors who I'm not even going to bother listing!!)
A long list ... and long-shot!! ... I know, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Julie
Could this be your Tamar Littlers marriage
1854 JUNE QTR WIGAN 8c7?
Dotty

Yes, it is Dotty. I purchased a copy of the marriage certificate only to find there was no father listed - it was very annoying! I think I may have found Tamar and her mother Sarah Littler (unmarried) on the 1841 census but I cannot be sure - so unfortunately the only information I'm sure of regarding Tamar is that she maried George Billingham in 1854. I was hoping a parish entry of her christening might provide more clues. Thank you for looking anyway.
