Where was the crime committed?
If David was 'from'/lived in Whitburn but the crime was committed elsewhere, he'd probably be sentenced in the area where the crime was committed?
Do you have an address where the crime was committed?
There's this from the VRs which may be the residence of the crime?
DUNCAN ROBERT MRS

Hi thankyou for your reply.I am sorry i have posted the wrong date, this crime was committed in 1877 not 1855 .
All i know is that he lived in Glasgow Little Dove Hill area in 1871(found this on the census) and this crime was commited in Whitburn I think .
Sorry for the mistake and thankyou again for your reply
