Title: Mullan/Henry
Post by: MURPHY2011 on Thursday 28 June 18 16:51 BST (UK)
Hi, Im looking for some information on the following family:

John Mullen who married Fanny (possibly Frances) Henry (Unable to find Wedding Certificate)
At this time they are down as staying in Maine, Balteagh
The children I can find for them are:
James 15/12/1865
Hugh 1/6/1868
John 27/3/1871
Sarah 30/11/1875 on Sarahs birth certificate it states a Jane Lagan was present at birth?

James Mullen the eldest 15/12/1865 went on to marry Margaret J Ferris in St Patricks Dungiven on 29/9/1885 and at that time they were living in Ballyquinn.

James and Margaret had a son Richard who was born on 18/10/1889 in Ballyquinn Limavady

They moved about 1900 to Lanarkshire in Scotland with Richard and his siblings, two more children were born in Scotland.

I have been unable to find out what happened to James's siblings, Hugh, John and Sarah, did they stay in Ireland and have family if so I would love to know who they married and so on.

I appreciate any comments to help in my search.

The years covered by the release of the historic Indexes to the Civil Records of Births, Marriages and Deaths are:

Births: 1864 to 1916

Marriages: 1845* to 1941

Deaths: 1864 to 1966

*non-Roman Catholic Marriages are recorded from 1845
,

Roman Catholic Marriages are recorded from 1864
