Title: Naval voyage to the Netherlands in 1799
Post by: Penholder on Friday 01 June 18 21:11 BST (UK)
I'm trying to follow the voyage of my 3 x great grandfather, who was a Royal Marine.   The musters show where his ship was but I can't identify some of the place names so I'm wondering if someone can maybe help.

Aug 10th - Downs
Aug 16th - At sea
Aug 23rd - At sea
Aug 30th - Texel (found)
Sept 10th - Kloohorne
Sept 16th Midlebeck
Sept 23rd - Midelbeck
Sept 30th -Enkusen - found as Enkuizen
Oct 10th - Lemmer - found
Oct 16th - Enkusen - as above
Oct 23rd - Fleep? Passage
Oct 30th - New Deep

A further question is would the men have put ashore at these places?

Many thanks,

Diana
