Hello,
I am seeking details of the birth of James S Cooper 1857 at Steeple, regards Jason
-
I can't see any birth/baptism for James on FreeBMD, FreeREG etc or James S on the census.
You also mention the surname Bartlett. How does this relate to James??

from Dorset OPC
James S(eward) Cooper was baptised in Kimmeridge
1839 03-FEB; James Seward son of Thomas & Elizabeth Cooper - Carpenter
There is a page referring to the one born 1881 which if one scrolls down gives info about the family of JSC(1839)

I had a quick look through the info but pretty sure it has nothing on Elizabeth Sewards lineage.
BAPTISM;
19 Dec 1811, St John the Baptist, Northwood. Isle of Wight
ELIZABETH Seward, Parents ROBERT/ELIZABETH
(only the 1 child to them listed)
MARRIAGE same Church;
04 May 1811, Robert SEWARD to Elizabeth COOMBE
A ROGER Seward married there the year before.
Info from FreeREG
