Please could anyone help restore or just better this photo of my great uncle John Williams

Hi Mandy, are you able to scan these photos (or have them scanned)? Preferably with scanner settings of 300 dpi (or higher) resolution and saved as a high quality .jpg file. If in doubt, read Cazza's Scanning Tutorial:http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=198165.0 (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=198165.0).
To a certain extent, we can correct the perspective of photos. But (at least in my case) correcting the perspective of these photos would lose some of uncle John's head :(.
A flat scan would have no perspective to correct and you'd get much better results. In these photos, (with photo perspective) uncle John has a relatively wide body and a relatively small head.

The photo belongs to my great aunt who has had the photo in her handbag ever since she lost her husband over 30 years ago. Unfortunately she does not own a scanner and is not well enough to look in to having it scanned. I was hoping to surprise her as I know how much the photo means to her. She lives quite some way away and would not part with it let alone post it to me bless her. I shall continue to try to get around this, and hopefully post it again after scanning. Thank you

I have played around with the perspective a bit, so here is my try.
