I am searching for any further information on my great great grandfather, Andrew Morrison.
Born Belfast?? 1804? Came to Australia , 1888, and Died at Upper Coomera, Queensland 1910.
He was married to Mary Leard/Laird in Crossgar - no year. I have no further information of any other children, birth places, year married etc.
Also his daughter, Harriett (b 1840 Aedigon), who married Robert Middleton (b 1840 Aedigon), in Killyleagh in 1860. They too, with their children, came to Australia in 1888.
I know their children but not Robert's parents or any other siblings on both sides.
Regards

Is this the source of your information?
What BDM certificates do you have for the people you are researching?

Thanks for the newspaper information. I didn't have that.
I have the BDM for Andrew Morrison and Harriett Middleton but not Robert Middleton.
I read that there are six other children. I was hoping for some information about them, or any further information about Andrew's parents

IGI marriage
MIDDLETON Robert m. MORRISON Harriet 18 Feb 1860 Killyleagh, Downpatrick, Ireland
MIDDLETON family arrived 13 Oct 1888 "Jumna"
Robert MIDDLETON died QLD 1919. Harriett MIDDLETON d. 1924. Harriett would likely be available as source of information for death certificate of husband Robert. In which case it is not very promising to see little information on his death index ie. his mother's name.
What occupation do you see for Andrew MORRISON on his death certificate?
-
Andrew Morrison's death certificate states that he was a labourer. He died at Baker's creek in Upper Coomera. He is buried in the Upper Coomera cemetery.

Now I will need to investigate further. The Children I have for Robert & Harriett are -
Robert Middleton - born 1865. Died 1945 in Australia
Margaret Jane Middleton Born 1866. Died 1931 in Australia. ? Confused about this other with the same name who died 1880?
Alice. Born 1869 Died 1942 In Australia
Anna (my grandmother) Born 1877. Died 1957 in Australia.
I have no record of there being another child named Harriett.
This information came mostly from ancestry.com but I will try those other sites mentioned.
I was hoping to find out Harriett Middleton 6 siblings if I could so I could persue the Morrison side.
Thanks for all your help. It has given me lots of further information.

I have the historical images of the deaths of Andrew and Daughter Harriett from BDM Qld. I found most of the other information from ancestry.com. I could not see the image of who came out on the Jumna, and with all of the other information, Daughter Harriet did not come up. I knew about Annie(my grandmother) and Alice from information given to me by my mother. I also have a copy of the newspaper (my cousin has the original) of an article on Andrew Morrison, in the Albert & Logan news, 25 December 1909.

The 1860 Middleton-Morrison marriage gives bride living in Tullyveery townland which marches Ardigon-
https://www.townlands.ie/down/dufferin/killyleagh/tullyveery/
Just to clarify details from Ancestry Ireland marriage record- Irish marriages do not list religion of bride and groom but their database assigns religion to the couple based on place of marriage. Also, the designations 'husband's witness' and 'wife's witness' are also their own invention. The certificate will (almost always) list two witnesses and only their signatures are shown.
I remember seeing birth and other relatives for the Margaret Jane Middleton who died in 1880 and that family lived in Ballywillwill (west of Downpatrick). The page from death register says Clough for the sub-district so although there may be some connection they are probably not closely related.

Just posting on the off chance, but is the following possibly related?
An Ellen Morrison and a William Andrew (father John, a labourer), both recorded as living in Ardigon, got married on 17 January 1866, the transcription of the civil marriage record I've seen (Downpatrick district) gives the bride's father as Andrew Morrison - a labourer - and one of the witnesses was a Robert Middleton. A 'pay to view' image of the original civil marriage registration entry is available on the General Register Office Northern Ireland website, but the same should become available to view for free later this year on the 'IrishGenealogy' website, if their plans to upload images come to fruition.
For those placing weight on naming convention, note that a daughter Mary was born to this couple at Tullyveery on 9 November 1866:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1866/03512/2291524.pdf
Then a daughter Harriet was born at Tullyveery on 26 January 1868:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/supp_births/2349852x.pdf
There was a son William in 1870:
