Hi
I am looking for a Family from Risca.
Surname Davies
Leah Tate Davies was My GTGrandmother She married Thomas Hopkins from Oakdale. The Marriage took place about 1875. Look forward to anyone who can help.
Thank You Linda

Hi Cookie!
I don't know whether you have the marriage, from freebmd
Mar quarter 1875
Newport Mon
Vol 11a Page 179
If you sent for the cert it would give you their father's names and occupations, which would make it easier to trace them on censuses.
Have you got them on any census?
kind regards, Arranroots ;)

Hi Linda
Ii 1861 the Hopkins family Are at Ref RG9 4026 100 23
Enumerated as Hopkin . Ellen states her place of birth as

Mary Davies is with her son in law Thomas Leonard , wife

Hi Rhys
Thank you for latest info. I would be interested in 1861 Census. This all makes great reading. Did not know the Hopkins Family was so big . The only info I had on them was 1881 and 1901.
