Are you trying to contact Aberdeen Archives or the Aberdeen and North-East Scotland Family History Society?

Ah. I thought I had clicked on Aberdeenshire.

It's very odd you haven't heard from them.
I have contacted them before, (last year), and they have been very prompt and very helpful indeed.
This is the phone number, (from the Internet), for Paisley Central Library
0044 300 300 1188
The Heritage Centre is in the library, so if that's not the right number, they should be able to give you one for the Heritage Centre.
Added:
Found a 'real' number! I must have asked them for one, as I don't think you can ring '300' numbers from overseas.
0141 618 5488 (I think!)
I presume you have seen the Paisley Poor Law Index?
I have the pdf if you want anybody looked up.
