I have so little to go on with this one, but you never know...
I am looking for some kind person to try to locate Rev. William Francis WILKINSON.
All I know of him is that he had a daughter, Agnes Armitage WILKINSON (b. abt. 1824 Goosnargh, Lancashire)
Agnes Armitage WILKINSON married my great great grandfather, Samuel ANSELL (Scripture Reader) in September 1854 in Derby, Derbyshire.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know if there are any other sisters?
1841 Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmorland
The address looks like Clergy School
These two are NOT born in County but of course no confirmation that they are related.
Bear in mind that ages might be rounded down to the nearest 5

Sarah,If you go onto the Roostweb World Connect Project.Someone else is researching the same family.Put in Agnes Wilkinson born Lancashire and it will come up.
However they have Agness Father down as Richard Wilkinson Clergyman ,Mother-Alice Clifton and Agnes has two sisters Helena and Jane .It seems to be the same family as they have Agnes marrying Samuel Ansell. And according to the site the 1841 entry Mary found above is correct.Check out the site. You can contact them

Sarah
Do you have Samuel and Agnes' marriage certificate?
3rd quarter 1854 Derby Vol 7b page 520
It would at least confirm the father's name.

I had previously been told that this entry listed a Margaret, age 25... Did you definitely see her listed as Mary?

By the way, I don't have a copy of Agnes WILKINSON & Samuel ANSELL'S marriage certificate from 1854 Derby, Derbyshire, England.

You're right. It could be Margt!!
It's a pity, because in the IGI I'd found the christening of a Mary Wilkinson to WILLIAM and ALICE on 28 April 1816 in Saint Peter, Bolton Le Moors, so I got all excited. :)
It really would be worth getting Agnes and Samuel's marriage certificate if you could. It would confirm her father, but also might confirm whether she was a school teacher or not.

I would agree with Margt
Your way forward is definitely with the marriage certificate, I'm not sure you can hope to get further without parents details.

Thank you to everyone for your help.
I will look at getting a copy of the marriage certificate.
