Hoping to identify parents for Charles WARNER b. Islington 1888. In the 1891 census he is at Farnham with grandparents Henry & Fanny KING. Many thanks :-)

This one?
Charles Valentine Warner, mother’s maiden name Hughes, Mar qtr 1888 Islington
-
Looks promising, given that there is a stepson James Hughes (29 b Farnham) with Henry and Fanny King in 1881.
Presumably a sister of his was Charles’ mother.
-
Fanny Hughes was in Farnham as a 37 yr old widow in 1861, with children Ann 12, Sarah 11, James 9, Fanny 7.
RG9/432/83/19.
-
Sarah Hughes was baptised at Farnham on 3 March 1850, daughter of George (a sawyer) and Fanny.
As Sarah Ann Hughes she married Frederick Charles Warner at St Mark, Myddelton Square (Islington) on 6 Oct 1874.
She died as Sarah Ann Warner aged 38 in Islington Mar qtr 1888, the same quarter in which Charles’ birth was registered.

Thanks - yes, pretty sure that's the right Charles, given the Hughes connection.

As Charles V Warner (13) he is back with his widowed father Frederick in Islington in 1901.
