Title: Clytha Church?
Post by: carol o on Saturday 06 August 05 16:00 BST (UK)
I know there was a church in Llanarth,Monmouthshire but can any one tell me if there was a church in the hamlet of Clytha?

On the old maps site,I have found Clytha House and across the road and to the left there is St.Marys Church.Would that be Clytha Church? If so,are there any baptisms and marriage records available for it?

 Thanks for any help :)

hello Carol

I believe that St Mary`s was the Catholic church.
Do not think there was an anglican church in Llanarth other than St Teilo.

Hi Rhys
Thanks for the reply.I had a look at the Catholics registers.
They only go up to 1838 ???

Do you know if there are any after that?

 Regards Carol
