Title: 1861/1871 Kelly, Dronmore
Post by: wheeldon on Saturday 06 August 05 15:00 BST (UK)
Hi, I wonder if anyone could answer a quick question.  I did read that the government had destoyed some of the census material, I'm just wondering what's left and what census can be looked up?

I'm looking for

Mary Kelly born aprox 1847
Ellen Kelly born aprox 1857 - both born in dromore, County Down.

Many Thanks for your time
Fiona

The townland of Dunmore, near Ballynahinch,  was once known as Dromore.  It could be worthwhile for you to check there as well as the town of Dromore.

Thanks Sean, I will do.  I'm allways scratching my head when it comes to my Irish roots but this time I'm determined to give it a good go.

Many Thanks

Fiona
