What documentary evidence do you have that he was born in Markby?

John White.  baptised  20 May 1744, Great Carlton, Lincolnshire.  To Eustace and Elizabeth

Mary White.  baptised  26 Apr 1748, Great Carlton, Lincolnshire.  To Eustace and Elizabeth

Great Carlton is 8 miles from Markby.

I note that Lincs Archives has a copy of his will

WHITE Eustace, Farmer, Great Carlton 1765/199

I see in the burial records that a son (George) was also buried in 1765 (no ages)

10 years out but there is a Eustasee White son of Fichwilliam and Troth at Louth St James on 10th April 1724.

Fitz William White and Troth Emerson married at Saltfleetby All Saints on 20th February 1717

He married again to Ann Kendall in 1764, died following year then?

I've not seen the will ... I downloaded an index long ago.

Re the death in 1765 ... I suppose it could have been the father who died.

There were a few EWs around with marriages -

Susanna MARSH (wid) Boston 1762
Ann KENDALL Great Carlton 1764
Ann GREY 1783 Haugham
Elizabeth NUNDY 1807 North Elkington

then there's the earlier marriage to an Elizabeth that produced the children in the 1740s.

I suspect there are baptisms that you don't know about.  :-\

The 1714 baptism is in Maltby le Marsh not Markby. I have only recently discovered this having looked at Markby for many years!
7th November 1714 Eustace son of John and Mary White. John and Mary Copeland were married in Withern (next village) in 1713.
I believe John was born in 1694 one of the children of Eustace and Ann white of Huttoft.
