Not 100% sure, but I think it's a German occupation: Sprachlehrer = language teacher

What is the heading that the word is written under (or beside)? There are generally headings on d/cs.

I think I can see two f's or long esses (double s).

It might help if you can show a bit more of the document so we can compare letters with others on the same document.
