Post by: Trixy on Saturday 10 February 18 21:55 GMT (UK)
 Hello,

I am trying to find the parents of Amos Witney b Chinnor abt 1833 and the parents of his wife Ellen Strange b abt 1835 Watlington. They were married in Oct-Dec 1854 Wycombe district  according to Free BMD.
Any help would be appreciated.

There is a baptism for Amos Witney :

Amos Witney b 28 Oct 1832 baptised 25 Dec 1832 Chinnor ; John Witney , chair turner , and Sarah of Chinnor. The family is on the 1841 census:  HO 107 883 5.

The marriage certificate would confirm his father's name and occupation.
