John Jackson , born in Notingham in 1785 or nearby lived in France and England, was he a merchant?
His wife , Mary Ann JONES  said born in London, gave birth to a girl Emelie (Emilie, Emily) in 1826 in Montreuil sur Mer in France while he was in London .
There is a John Jackson who married a Mary Ann Jones in Littleport 1825.
Could anyone find the record ?

Living in Stanfield Norfolk in 1851 were John Jackson 51 born Littleport and his wife Mary A 49 born Ramsey Hunts, who if they the are couple who married in 1825 in Littleport  would not appear to be the couple you are seeking.
