Can anyone help locate an entry in 1841 census for Bowden (Altrincham) for John & Harriet Berry? I haven't managed to trace any siblings to date for my gg grandfather Hugh (son of John & Harriet) born 1840.
Many thanks

Hi Peter
Would it be possible for you to check 1841 census for George and Martha (born about 1780) Gould then living in Stockport ...in checking records it appears they were in St Mary's Parish
You may recall that I previously wrote about George I born about 1770 and George II (shoemaker/cordwainer) born in Great Longstone in 1808 though who lived in Stockport for a number of years before returning to GL probably about 1840
I am trying to find birthplace of George I ....
Thanks
PS My computer is giving me fits so I will be offline while it is returned to Dell on Monday for repair thus I may not get to your reply in pompt manner

Hi Peter
Just took a look at the Barry census, and blow me down with a feather, there were some of my lot right at the top of the page, George and Grace Timperley and family !
Thanks very much saves me looking.
If you want me to do Cheshire look-ups just email me and I will see if I can help.
I was born Dunham Massey, moved to Wilmslow, then Poynton and from Poynton to Lincoln. My cousins live in Macclesfield.
