Title: Help deciphering first name
Post by: maesyseren on Sunday 04 February 18 22:10 GMT (UK)
The transcription gives the name second from bottom as 'Louritte Lovell', but Louritte seems like an odd name - just wondered if anyone can see an alternative?  Many thanks :)

The first two letters do not look the same as the first two of the surname so, like you, I think it is not Louritte.
But what it is ??? ???
Could the first letter be S ?

Henrietta/Henriette?

The name above is Fanny, so the first letter of the name is the entire squiggly bit and looks like the "H" at the beginning of "Hughes", methinks.
