Hi there
I’m not sure I’m posting in the right place. I think I am.
I’m looking to trace the family of my great uncle John Curley (sometimes called Jackie). He was born in Ireland in the 1920’s and emigrated to England where he married Jean Baker (I think) and had his family.
He was my grandmothers older brother and while she is dead over 40 years her children remain curious as to what happened to uncle Jackie.
From what I’ve found, he married and lived and died in oxfordshire.
Would anyone on here have heard of the family or know anything of them?

A John Curley born 30.8.1924 died in May 1998 in Oxfordshire.
The marriage you mention was 1946 in Oxfordshire - see freebmd
Have you looked on freebmd for births for Curley with mmn Baker - I can see 5 names but details cannot be given here as Rootschat has a no living persons policy?

His wife may still be alive and living in Abingdon.
