Title: Trinity Schools, Ford translation
Post by: krudachyk on Tuesday 12 December 17 15:22 GMT (UK)
My great uncle Frederick Booth enlisted for the first world war at 15 years old. (and  91 lbs).  He was then discharged because of his age.
His intended place of residence is listed as Trinity Schools.  Ford.   Conventry
I was wondering if anyone knew where/what this would be

Thank you for your time
Kathy

Do you think he was sent there?
His family would have been in Staffordshire.

This 1888 map https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/433604/279310/13/100357 shows two houses in the school grounds. Holy Trinity School was not residential, perhaps his father was the caretaker?
You can see the school and the School of art on this 1914 map https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/433604/279310/12/101153
Change the zoom level with the - in the top left corner.
