Title: Wilson's of Penny St., Portsea 1839+
Post by: serendipity on Wednesday 03 August 05 21:46 BST (UK)
Anyone researching WILSON or HILL surnames in the Portsea area from 1900 - 1951 or so.
I believe my Great-Grandfather was connected to the Royal Naval Dockyard.

Thanks,
Serendipity

Hi - I was down in Penny Street this morning - my GGGrandfather lived in number 31 Penny Street during the 1920's - if I can I am going to let you see the photos I took?
Obviously the house is no. 31 which is being refurbished but the sign on the road might be of interest? No the file size is too big if you want to contact me I can email the pics to you.
