Title: location of wireless station Tarlier
Post by: okkool on Sunday 19 November 17 18:20 GMT (UK)
My great grandfather Charles w Gould was a RN yeoman of signals in ww 1. In April 1918 he is on the HMS Europa in Mudros harbour, Greece. The last notation on his service record is a commission to 2nd Lieutenant and "To Officers Section"

No indication of his posting after April 1918

In his 1938 obituary it states "He was next stationed at Tarlier, a Scottish wireless station until the armistice"

I have been unable to find a reference to Tarlier. Any ideas?
