A long shot I know but nonetheless here goes.
I am missing some detail concerning Maud Mary PARSONS nee CROWLEY bur/d 7 Dec 1910 at Pioneer Cemetery, Mareeba, Queensland. Maud was the first wife of Ernest Howard PARSONS.
I haven't been able to locate a memorial/head stone for Maud and wonder if anyone goes to the Mareeba Pioneer Cemetery and if so who might be able to take a photograph of Maud's headstone [assuming it still exists].
Maud was the only daughter of John William CROWLEY and Mary KEATING whom, at one stage owned Curraghmore Station.
Thanks

Mareeba Pioneer cemetery has been indexed and photographed here
http://austcemindex.com/cemetery.php?id=536
Mareeba Pioneer Cemetery appears to have been established shortly before the turn of the 19th century. It contains inscriptions that range from 1896 to 2007. Approximately two-thirds of the burials here are unmarked.
Complete as at 2009-11-30 Inscription Count 2624 Image Count 873
The inscriptions/photographs are here

There is no picture for Maud Mary Parsons - so probably no headstone.

Hi Westy
Saw your post about Maud Mary Crowley and her headstone. I have found that in some cases headstones were not erected due to lack of funds. I am not directly related to Maud Mary, however my GGgrandmother Mary Groves was John Crowley's 2nd wife. I have been looking for members of the family from both marriages. Are you related through the 1st or 2nd marriage?
