I know there is a list of church records for Churchstanton, Devon from 1662 but wondered why there are none before then. I seem to have drawn a blank for anything pre 1662.
Any ideas ? Thank you.

Thank you Rosie. I know that one of the entries was via IGI and the information on there was wrong but I will take a look at other sites.

Churchstanton is now in Somerset. According to Genuki it transferred from Devon to Somerset in 1896.
It might be relevant to seach under Churchstanton, Somerset.
