My 2ND Great Grandmother Catherine Flanagan was married in Aust. in 1878 . On the marriage cert it was recorded that she was born 1846 in Limerick Ireland My search for more information has found that there was a birth that matched recorded at St Mary's on 14 May 1846 but I have not been able to confirm if this is her . I have no idea when she migrated ,where she went or any other information on her . I wonder if anybody could help with my search or advise me on how I could find more information

Thank you for your interest .
Catherine was married on a remote station in N.S.W. called GARNPANG STATION .on the 14th Apr. 1878 .
The registration did not record the names of her parents just her age and birth place
Garnpang Station was near the borders of of Victoria , South Australia and New South Wales so it is likely that she landed at Melbourne or Geelong in Victoria . Port Adelaide in South Australia or Sydney in N.S.W.
I have not been able to find any record of her migration to Australia and do not know if she migrated as a child with family or as a teenager but assume that she was 32 yo when she married
I appreciate your help , very much as I have no idea how to advance my search

Oh boy Oh! this is a tough one.
I can only see Andrew Denham Harris, his death and the Electoral lists.
I can't find his birth or any ship records.
There is an Andrew Harris, but he is a traveller and is always out and about on ships around Australia.
Catherine Flanagan, is the same.
BUT
I did see some ship records.
I will send them Private Message.
You said they married in GARNPANG STATION, is Balranald the same place?
This what I saw on the marriage record.
The birth record for 1846, saw that, the others + or - 4 years went to the USA and the UK. I would that was her well 90%.
Not that many Harris people in Tipperary in the Tithe or Griffiths Valuation, so maybe a bit more digging.

Similarly with death certificate for Catherine, and her husband.

Thanks for your for your help in tracing my elusive ancestors I see that there is a 10 year difference between this birthdate and Andrews stated birthdate which may be to great to be him

I have temporarily misplaced the folder with the certificates in it . I only have a copy of the wedding cert. as I have not been able to find the death certs yet but will display the wedding cert as soon as I can

If this Andrew had a brother called Morris, then they went to the USA about 1855.
