Hi,

I am trying to find out more information on my Grandfathers Sister Mary Rose Stokes who was born in Newry 1925. Her parents were John Stokes and Margaret O'Loughlin. Any assistance would be much appreciated as I can't seem to find any info. It's possible that Mary Rose was a cousin or other relation to my grandfather but I don't know.

Copies of the historical birth, marriage and death certificates from 1845/1864 to 1921 inclusive can be obtained from either the GRO facilities in Belfast (GRONI) or the GRO in Dublin/Roscommon.

Northern Ireland civil registration records from 1922 onwards are available only from GRONI.

Do you have access to Ancestry.  There is a tree there that has some details that might interest you.
